ZATE Project
Control procedures outline integrated controlling functions
designed to meet client requirements and help ensure project
success.
Planning
A presentation on the project course of action. Front-end
planning involves the preparation of execution plan that
defines complete scope of work, project schedules, resource
calculations, development of cost and control tools.
Controlling
Procedures and tools required for project implementation.
This involves tracking and monitoring actuals against plans,
forecasting remaining resources, updating performance tools,
detection of slippage, applying appropriate measures and
evaluating options for recovery plans to keep project on
track.
Managing
Method of reporting, presentation and distribution of
progress status. It involves up-to-date progress update and
timely report submittal, communicating with client on
results of project performance including future course of
action, addressing design change requests and scope changes,
and evaluating trending results to visualize future
performance.
Document Handling
Application of unique document identification codes for easy
access and retrieval. Confidentiality is strictly observed
through proper document keeping, storage and disposal. For a
period of time, documents are kept in place for client
verification and audit.
Software Tools
ZATE uses a range of programs essential to deliver effective
project execution results. Some programs are internally
developed including:
Primavera Project Planner - standard Zate scheduling
program for all projects.
Microsoft Projects - used for management project
presentations and simple project schedules.
PSR (Project Status Report), which is Zate's man-hour
and cost
Excel/Lotus/Wordstar/Powerpoint/Access, which is used
for all status reporting documents.
