CADD
Work Stations
ZATE has installed (68) CADD workstations, which are
Saudi Aramco approved. ZATE CADD capability consists of:

A Dell server with Raid system technology.

A dedicated PC for the XEROX plotters.

XEROX Plotters for plots up to A0 size.
-
HP Laserjet printers or equivalent for prints up to A3
size or
-
HP Color Printer for color prints up to A3 size or 11X17 Size.
The Above equipment are installed in a local area network
environment using Windows 2000 Professional Operating
System.
ZATE CADD system currently operates on Intergraph Microstation-J.
The system is installed as per Saudi Aramco CADD standards.
A DXF format translator is available to convert CADD
drawings from Autocad format.
ZATE CADD systems are also capable of operating other CADD
standards and drawing types in Microstation format.
